Foundation Plus/Sheathing is a versatile high density EPS foam that can be used below grade, under slabs and as exterior sheathing. Advantages over competing products include "breathability", environmentally friendly manufacturing and the dollar per R-value ratio.
Not only is our Foundation Plus/Sheathing easy to handle and work with, its unique ability to "breath" prevents the build-up of moisture within your walls. Furthermore, Foundation Plus/Sheathing has been certified for in-ground application around foundations, basement walls and under slabs.
Foundation Plus/Sheathing is supplied in 2' X 8' sheets in thickness of 1", 1 1/2", 2" and 2 1/2". (Other thicknesses and 4' X 8' sheets are also available upon request.)
For new home construction, Foundation Plus/Sheathing can be used with any type of exterior finishwood, brick, stucco, vinyl or aluminum siding. If you are planning on changing the exterior face of your existing home, just install it over the existing exterior face and finish with the new siding or brick.

Installation is relatively simple. Corners, window and door openings are easily trimmed and cut and no special tools are required. Simply drive 1/2" head galvanized nails through the insulation and into the stud. That's all there is to it.
For basements, Foundation plus/Sheathing can be placed directly against the exterior concrete wall and held in place by nailing to the sill plate or joist header, or stuck to the concrete using insulation adhesive. The insulation joints should be installed vertically to facilitate drainage.
